Ah thanks for this. Now I’ve to figure out how to remove the strings and get some cleaning product. I’m a complete noob who’s just inherited a Fender. I’ve only ever had acoustics before this.

Each time I finish playing, I use an old tee shirt and wipe down the neck and guitar. I also spray the cloth not the guitar…. On my maple neck I use Dr Duck ax wax . On my rosewood same

there’s a fair bit wrong and not mentioned in this video. sorry fender!!!! not sorry! might be useful to mention that cleaning a cheap maple neck vs cleaning a higher quality Harwood neck is very different if one doesn’t want to ruin it. I’m a jeweller for a living and it’s often painful watching your ‘technicians’ so called ‘refurbish’ guitars as if they’re scrubbing shit off a shoe. bring to light the massive discrepancies between the low end Mexican players… I can sit and play 3 in a shop and every one is different. sadly I lost any faith in your brand many years ago. the PRS silver sky makes your flagship (musical history changing guitar) look like crap.. and fyi I have a 75th Strat and a 2018 PRS SS. there is no comparison, the silver sky blows your Strat so far out of the water that it there. is a clear device between the level of attention to detail. Sad times when I buy a fender and its disappointing
